Please tell us who Augustine was, specifically.
If you click on his name in the original post you will find his biography. Briefly, he was an early theologian who lived from 354-430 in northern Africa. He wrote about original sin, predestination and salvation by grace. His most famous works are his "Confessions" and "The City of God". Both Prostestantism and Roman Catholicism owe much to him but both sides can't reconcile all his doctrine as there is much to disagree with whichever side you are on. He was foundational however in his thinking on many Christian doctrines.
